Many thanks to those who helped prepare the food and then serve it at Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis. Over 100 people were fed a nutritious lunch on Tuesday, August 8, and more than 150 ate a good meal later the next day. Lots of people at Joy donated the food, chopped, peeled and stirred it all up on Monday, August 7.
On the previous Sunday, we had heard about Jesus feeding over 5000 people with five loaves and two fish. At Sharing and Caring Hands people were fed again with Jesus’ love and ours.
