Join us to celebrate life and love and salvation

Join us this Holy Week as we walk with Jesus into Jerusalem and beyond, to his last supper, trial, and crucifixion. And celebrate with us as he rises from the dead.

On Palm Sunday, April 2, we will all gather in the Narthex and march into the sanctuary with palms. Since the crowd back then also put their cloaks and coats on the road to show their respect for the King, please bring any used jackets or coats you might have to put in the aisle and at the altar to donate to the Salvation Army for people who need them.

On Maundy Thursday, April 6, and Good Friday, April 7, both nights at 6:30 pm, we will gather to celebrate Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples and remember his suffering and death for us. These are some of the most meaningful events and services in the church. We hope that you will be able to join us.

On Easter Sunday, April 9, there will be two services at Joy. The first service will be at 9:30 am, followed by a second service at 11:00 am. Special music will be provided by the Bell Choir and brass players at both services. For early risers, the Prescott Area Churches are offering our traditional Sunrise Service at Freedom Park at 7:00 am.

What would Easter be at Joy without Easter breakfast? Well, it would still be the resurrection of Jesus and our salvation. But even the disciples must have been hungry after going to the tomb and finding Jesus risen from the dead. Join them and us at Joy on Easter Sunday, April 9, from 8:00-11:00 am for pancakes and more.
