It’s Mission Apple Pie time again!
The Apple Pie Committee will be making pies again this year. Come and help us make pies on Saturday, October 12th from 9AM – Noon. All youth and adults are invited to help! Please sign up on the sheets in the Narthex or online at the links below if you can help make pies this year. We will be selling the pies for only $15 per pie. The proceeds will go to help our sister church in Malawi, Africa.
If you’d like to pre-order pies, please sign up on the sheets in the Narthex or at the links below. Pies may be picked up Sunday, October 13th, after the service. We will make some extras for those of you who may not sign up, but if you want to be guaranteed your pies, make sure you reserve them!
We are changing things up a little from previous years and buying all of the ingredients in bulk for more uniformity so instead of asking people to donate ingredients, we’re asking for donations to cover the cost of ingredients. There are envelopes on the board in the Narthex, you can put money in an envelope and put it in the offering plate, or you can use the church’s online portal to donate as well, just make sure to note that the money is for pie ingredients. The supplies will cost around $800 so we need as much help as we can get.
We’re still going to need people to lend us your apple peelers among other supplies that are listed on the board. If you can lend us any of those supplies, click on the Google link below, put your name on the item, and leave it in the kitchen by Thursday, October 10th.
